The past weekend recorded a great number of mass shooting deaths in the United States as at least, 12 have been reported dead and about two dozen injured in the shootings.
The shootings came after a spate of mass killings that have sparked renewed calls for reform of the nation’s gun laws.
The violence from last weekend took place in Philadelphia where three were killed and 12 were injured; and in Chattanooga, Tennessee with another three dead and 12 others injured.
In South Carolina on Saturday, a graduation party outside was disrupted by a drive-up shooting that was said to have involved two vehicles.
The Sherriff’s Office confirmed that there were at least, 60 to 70 rounds fired at this incident.
Again on Sunday, a shooting killed three people in Saginaw, Michigan, including two men at the scene and a woman who was hospitalized but did not survive.
Another two were killed in Mesa, Arizona, also on Sunday.
America has been facing a gun violence epidemic that has already claimed thousands of lives this year, showing no sign of abating.
