Vice President Osinbajo Expresses Optimism On Nigeria’s Unity, Despite Challenges

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has said that the country will remain one despite several agitations for secession.

Speaking at the 61st independence anniversary service and the 45th anniversary service of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Sunday, the Vice President said with the security, economic, religious, and ethnic challenges being faced in the country, the collective vision of a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria abides.

He added that Nigeria is now the most educated and most entrepreneurial nation in Africa, noting that 10 out of the 36 states in the country have larger economies than at least 15 African countries.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, members of the National Assembly, Judiciary and the Federal Executive Council (FEC) were also in attendance at the service.
