STRIKE CONTINUES AS ASUU NEC EXTENDS ACTION AFTER 196 DAYS

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has decided to continue its lingering strike which has put a halt to academic activities in most public universities across the nation in the last six months.

According to reports, the Union made this decision following a heated National Executive Council (NEC) meeting at the Union’s headquarters at the University of Abuja on Monday morning.

The ASUU Strike which was declared on February 14, 2022 has now entered its 196th day.
