SOUN PALACE ATTACK: PALACE AUTHORITIES REACT

The Secretary of Soun Palace, Mr. Toyin Ajamu, has debunked reports which went viral on social media that one Bukola Adediji popularly known as Ajanlekoko broke into the palace of Soun of Ogbomosoland on Thursday afternoon to steal the crown.

Mr. Ajamu made the clarification in a release issued and made available to BCOS correspondent in Ogbomoso, describing the report as fake and baseless.

The release explained that Bukola Adediji had forcefully entered the palace and damaged palace property worth millions of Naira.

He also injured a palace Chief (Aaremole of Ogbomoso) under the influence of hard drugs but there was no attempt to steal crowns.

It was reported as well, that the culprit was later captured by the palace workers after beating the Chief, Aaremole Lasisi Ajayi to the extent of breaking one of his teeth.
