Oyo State Government has announced partnership plans with a Japanese Vehicle Manufacturing Company, MAX NG/YAMAHA Corporation, towards Transport Sector Development in the State.
Governor Seyi Makinde unveiled the plans in Ibadan in his message to the management of the Company who were on a courtesy visit.
Governor Seyi Makinde who was represented by the Secretary to State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, reiterated the four cardinal development policies of his administration which cover the Health and Education Sectors, Economic Expansion through Agribusiness, and Security.
He said the State Government will continue to explore every opportunity for investment and economic development.
Speaking for the Management of MAX NG/YAMAHA Corporation, the Company Co-founder, Mr Adetayo Bamiduro thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for creating the appropriate environment for investments to thrive.
He said the Company had plans for the State in the area of financial inclusion, transportation, logistics, identity management, as well as data and mobile application development.
