OYO ADC DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE JOINS PDP

The political structure of the African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Oyo state has further collapsed as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2023 elections, Evangelist Oyetayo Emmanuel Oyewole announced his defection to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

Evangelist Oyewole made the announcement during a press conference at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.

Addressing Journalists the former deputy governorship candidate of the ADC in Oyo State, Evangelist, Emmanuel Oyewole, denounced his membership of ADC and pledged his total allegiance to the Oyo State, ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

According to the running mate, Dr. Ganiyu Dele Ajadi, for the 2023 governorship election, he said he took the decision in the interest of the people of the state, having witnessed numerous unprecedented achievements Governor Seyi Makinde has recorded in Oyo State.

Recall that thousands of ADC members led by the former Speaker of the state house of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, and some other parties recently joined the Political train of the PDP during an event held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

Oyewole is a former Oyo North Senatorial chairman of ADC.

He hails from Igboho in Oorelope local government.
