OWO ATTACK: TINUBU DONATES ₦75M TO VICTIMS, CATHOLIC CHURCH

Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has promised to donate ₦75m to the victims of the killings in Owo, Ondo State on Sunday, as well as to St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo.

The presidential aspirant made this known during a visit to Ondo State on Monday to commiserate with Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu and also to the scene of the attack.

Akeredolu, who announced the donation at the palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, thanked the APC leader for the gesture.

₦50 million will go to victims of the attack and ₦25 million to the Catholic Diocese of Ondo.

Tinubu, who described the attack as an evil that must be defeated, tasked the government at all levels to ensure the protection of lives and property.
