OSUN POLL: OSOGBO RECORDS PEACEFUL CONDUCT SO FAR AS 90-YEAR-OLD STEPS OUT TO VOTE

Accreditation and voting exercise have commenced simultaneously in Osogbo, the Osun state capital and other local government areas in the state.

A visit by BCOS Reporter, Abiodun Akinkunle to Egbedore, Osogbo Ifelodun and Boripe local governments in Osun state revealed a peaceful conduct of the election.

At Boripe Local Government ward 1 unit 2 where Governor Gboyega Oyetola is expected to vote a 90 year old woman madam Sidiqat Yusuf said she came out to vote to ensure that Nigeria and Osun state remain a better society.

The voting process is less difficult due to the availability of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation Systems technology put into use which can identify both the face and finger prints of voters.

A political figure in Osun, Chief Ladosu Ladipo said the INEC must be commended for organising a peaceful election that will make rigging so difficult.
