OLUBADAN ADETUNJI’S BROTHER, AMBALI DIES AT 84

Barely four months after the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji joined his ancestors, his younger brother, Chief Ambali Adetunji has died.

Reports say Chief Ambali died on Tuesday at the age of 84 and was buried same day, according to Islamic rites at his residence in Odo-Oba, Boluwaji, Ibadan.

He was survived by wives and children.

The Aare Musulumi of Odo-Oba in Ibadan worked with his late brother, Oba Saliu Adetunji for decades to change the face of Fuji music in Nigeria.
