More reactions have continued to trail the ₦30,000 new minimum wage bill signed into law by Governor Seyi Makinde.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, who is also a former Chairman, Oluyole Local Government, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, in an interview with BCOS reporter, Abioye Ayorinde, commended the State Government led by Engr Seyi Makinde for yielding to the expectations of the masses.

he added that the implementation will further encourage the Labour fore to do more as it is what they have been clamouring for.

In his reaction, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Oyo State, Dr Azeez Olatunde, also gave kudos to Governor Makinde for his fulfillment of his promise earlier made to the people.

It would be recalled that the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, who chaired the State’s Minimum Wage Implementation Committee, broke the news of the pact reached between Labour and Oyo State Government on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
