The Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has described the demise of late Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdul-Ganiy Salawudeen Ajinase 1, as a personal loss, adding that the late Aseyin was his very close associate and partner in progress.
The Governor made the remarks during his condolence visit to the palace of Aseyin on Thursday.
Governor Seyi Makinde eulogised the passion of the monarch for the development of Iseyin, which he said is beyond anybody’s imagination.
He however promised to give a befitting burial to the late Oba, and cater for the needs of the Widows and children left behind as long as he’s alive.
Earlier in their respective remarks, the Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Mr. Muftau Abilawon, and the Ikolaba of Iseyin, Chief Ismail Omotosho, appreciated the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde while the late Aseyin battled his protracted illness.
They pledged that the people of Iseyin would continue their unflinching support for the Present administration in Oyo state.
