Football fans, especially fans of the Shooting Stars Sports Club will very soon start enjoying the thrills and frills associated with the round leather game in the comfort of their homes, as the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) is poised to start the live broadcast of matches involving the darling team of South Western Nigeria.
Towards making the mission possible, a bilateral meeting was held on Monday, August 10, 2020, between the BCOS Management team led by the corporations Executive Chairman, Prince Dotun Oyelade and top officials of the state ministry of Youths and Sports led by the State Commissioner of the ministry, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede.
The meeting was aimed at providing modalities for the live coverage of 3SC games as well as planning for the challenges that could come with it.
In an exclusive chat with the BCOS sports after the meeting, Asiwaju Fakorede highlighted the motive behind the planned live telecast.
In his remarks on the proposed live broadcast of 3SC games, the BCOS Executive Chairman, Prince Dotun Oyelade explained that it is one of the giant strides the state-owned media outfit is taking to increase its viewership as well as to reposition the station to be one of the best in the country.
According to Prince Oyelade, when the live broadcast of 3SC games commence, it will be beamed to over fifty countries of the world.
With the latest innovation of the media outfit from the Pace Setter State, football lovers especially 3SC fans are in for a swell time.
