Kidnappers have freed the supervisor at Late Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala’s farm, Mr Christopher Bakare.
The farm supervisor, who was abducted on Saturday evening in Jabata, Surulere Local Government area of Oyo state by Kidnappers, has regained freedom after payment of N5million ransom.
A family source confirmed to BCOS correspondent, Aderemi Akanmu on Wednesday night that the victim paid a sum of N5million ransom to regain freedom.
Recall also that his abductors initially placed N100million ransom on him but after four days of negotiations, they settled for N5million.
The ransom was reportedly taken to a forest in Otte area at the boundary of Oyo and Kwara states.
Narrating his ordeal in the den of abductors, Bakare said he was severely beaten without foods for days.
