The Kaduna State Government has warned that travellers who violates its Quarantine Law will spend 14 days in an isolation facility.
The warning was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Commissioner of Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan, at the end of a meeting of the State COVID-19 Committee.
The Commissioner who warned travellers to desist from breaching the Quarantine Law disclosed that certain parameters have been put in place to ensure that all travellers comply with the law.
He revealed that all entry points into the state will be barricaded, and only authorized persons will be given passage, while those who are denied entry, will be asked to turn back.
The affected routes include the Kaduna-Abuja road, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road, Kachia road, the Bwari-Jere-Kagarko road, Gumel-Kwoi-Keffi road, Zaria-Funtua road and the Jos-Manchock road.
The Commissioner noted that the order will be effective from Thursday, April 9, 2020.
