The Osun state high court in Osogbo could not proceed with the hearing in the murder case of a post-graduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife,Mr Timothy Adegoke Timothy on Tuesday.
This is due to the absence of the first defendant, Dr Rahmon Adedoyin, the owner of the hotel where the murder was suspected to have been carried out.
However, six of the hotel staff who are also standing trial alongside the owner were present in court.
The six defendants are; Magdalena Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle and Adedeji Adesola.
At Tuesday’s sitting, the court was told that the first defendant, Dr Adedoyin was indisposed.
