 “J1 League Distinctly Different from NPFL” – Coach Bolarinwa

Japan based Nigerian born UEFA licensed football coach, Oba Bolarinwa has described the Japanese league as one totally different from the Nigerian Professional Football League.

Speaking to Journalists on Monday, April 6, 2020, Oba who was assistant Coach to Imama Amakpakabo during the CHAN and Olympic Qualifiers said the J1 League has an already in-motion plan to become one of the best in the world by 2025 as it is already the best in Asia

He emphasised that unlike the NPFL, World class players make their way to the J- league in their later years and thus gives it a huge boost.

He also reiterated that the NPFL needs to work on a sustainable plan with sponsors, supporters, level playing field and increased player welfare in a bid to achieve a sustainable continental glory.
