HOODLUMS INVADE LAGOS CATHOLIC CHURCH, CART AWAY PVC REGISTRATION MACHINES

Some hoodlums, on Friday, invaded a Catholic Church in Lagos and carted away machines of INEC officials carrying out the PVC registration.

The church, identified as St. Brigid Catholic Church is located in Surulere area of the State.

It was reported that the thugs invaded the venue, saying the people would not be allowed to register because they won’t vote for their (thugs’) candidate.

They destroyed INEC materials and carted away some registration items.

It was also gathered that the Parish Priest had locked up the church as people scampered for safety.

Police are also said to have been mobilised to the area to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
