Yoruba Nation Activists thronged the popular Fajuyi Park in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, for a rally organised by Socio-Political Group, Ilana Omo Oodua.
There was heavy presence of security operatives including Police, Department of State Services and Amotekun Corps at the venue.
The Security Operatives said they were at the venue to prevent the breakdown of law and order and ensure miscreants do not hijack the rally.
The agitators expressed their demands for the creation of the Yoruba nation out of the present Nigeria.
One of the agitators and member of Oodua Action Movement, Mr Olusola Oyemakinde lamented the current Nigerian situation where, according to him, injustice, lopsidedness and insecurity remain the order of the Day.
