 Fuel Hike: “Police Won’t Allow Protest In Borno” CP

The Borno State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Ndastu Aliyu, has said it will not condone any form of protest capable of sabotaging the Federal Government’s effort and also the peace in the State.

The Command spokesman, DSP Edet Okon, issued this warning on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, adding that some groups are planning protests against fuel price hike, electricity tariff, working conditions of State Civil Servants, and the N-Power programme

The Command also used the opportunity to remind the public on the ban on public rallies, noting that the ban is still active at them moment.
