 Ekiti State Confirms Four New COVID-19 Cases

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, has announced four new cases of coronavirus in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to eight.

In a statement signed on Saturday evening, April 25, 2020, in Ado-Ekiti, Fayemi disclosed that the victims contracted the virus from the state’s fourth index case, a 45-year-old medical doctor working with a private clinic in the state.

He added that the new positive cases are stable and have shown no symptoms of the infection, stating that, they have been transferred to the Ekiti isolation centre for treatment.
