An Ibadan based Educationist, Chief Mrs. Bolajoko Doherty, has commended the Education policy of the present administration in Oyo State, describing it as a valuable gift to the people of the State.
She made this remarks in Ibadan while featuring on BCOS Radio Network Daily live Programme, ‘Ọ̀rọ̀ Tó Ń Lọ’.
According to Chief Mrs. Doherty, the Education policy of the Seyi Makinde-administration in Oyo State, which made basic education free of charge with the production of free textbooks and exercise books, is a welcome development that should be commended.
Condemning the School Feeding Programme of the Federal Government, which she described as a failure, the Educationist urged the Federal Government to transfer the money for feeding of the pupils to their parents bank account to provide better food for them at home.
She also called on the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, to ensure that all Nigerians are tested in order to know the actual number of people that have been infected with Coronavirus.
