 COVID-19 Update: NCDC Reports 594 New Cases; Totalling 22,614 Cases In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 594 new cases of Coronavirus, totalling 22, 614 cases in the Country.

According to a tweet on the official handle of NCDC on Thursday, June 25, 2020, Lagos State recorded the highest daily infections in the Country with 159 cases.

The Health Agency reported that Delta State had the second highest infections for the day with 106 cases, followed by Ondo State with 44, FCT with 34, Edo State with 34, Oyo and Kaduna States with 33 cases each.

Other States with fresh cases of the virus are: Enugu State, 28; Katsina State, 25; Imo State, 22; Adamawa State, 15;  Ogun State,12; Osun State, 11; Abia State, 8; and Rivers State, 6.

The remaining States with new Coronavirus cases are: Nasarawa, Bauchi and Niger has 5 cases each; Kebbi has 4; Ekiti State has 3; Plateau and Taraba has 1 case each.

Of the number of total infections in the Country,  7,822 have been discharged with 549 deaths recorded.
