 COVID-19: Oyo State Now Has One New Case, Seven Stabled Cases, One Discharged Case

Oyo State Government has disclosed that the State has recorded another positive case of Coronavirus, bringing the total of positive cases in the State to nine.

A statement made available in Ibadan on Saturday, April 4, 2020, by the Acting Chairman of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, Prof Temitope Alonge, on behalf the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, confirmed that the latest case is a close contact of the second confirmed case who subsequently developed symptoms.

The statement added that the patient has been moved to one of the isolation centres in the State, while activities at the Emergency Operations Centre, (EOC) are being ramped up and reviewed to meet the evolving nature of the Covid-19 pandemic.
