Nigeria has recorded 184 new cases of the COVID-19, bringing its total infections to 4,971.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new figures in a tweet late Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
According to the NCDC, 51 new cases were found in Lagos, 23 in Jigawa, 16 in Bauchi, 14 in Kano, 10 in the FCT, and Rivers.
In Kwara state, nine cases were reported, five cases in Delta and Kaduna, four in Sokoto and Oyo, three new cases in Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun, two cases recorded in Ondo.
While one case was recorded each in Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau and Niger.
The Centre has however recorded 1070 discharged patients and 164 deaths.
