Nigeria has recorded 146 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total infections in the country to 4,787.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new cases in a tweet on Tuesday night, May 12, 2020.
Of the 146 cases, the NCDC said there were 57 cases in Lagos, 27 in Kano, 10 in Kwara, nine in Edo, eight in Bauchi, seven in Yobe, and four each in Kebbi and Oyo states.
Three cases were also recorded in Katsina and Niger, two in Plateau, Borno, Sokoto and Benue while one each in Gombe, Enugu, Ebonyi, Ogun, FCT and Rivers states.
Currently, there are 4787 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, while 959 patients have discharged, the county has recorded 158 deaths.
