Kaduna State Government has temporarily relaxed the restriction of movement imposed throughout the state to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, who disclosed this in a state on Wednesday stated that the curfew will be eased from 3pm on Wednesday to 12 midnight on Thursday.
According to the Deputy Governor, the curfew has been relaxed to enable people to stock up on food and other essentials.
She said: ‘‘subsequently, the restriction of movement will be lifted every Tuesday and Wednesday. Traders in food and other essentials will open their shops on these two days”.
The Deputy Governor who apologised for the inconvenience that the curfew had caused also appealed to the people of the state to observe social distancing and avoid crowded places.
