President Muhammadu Buhari has paid tribute to the 20 Nigerian Doctors who died of Coronavirus disease within one week.
This was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu.
It would be recalled that the Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Abuja Chapter, Dr Enema Amodu had, at a Press Conference on Friday, December 25, 2020, announced the deaths of the Medical Practitioners.
President Buhari, in the statement, saluted the sacrifices of the 20 deceased Doctors; adding that the welfare of Health Workers is a priority for his administration.
The President, according to the statement, has also sent a condolence message to the NMA over the death of the Doctors, while admitting that the Nation’s Health Workers are operating under severe limitations.
