 CORONAVIRUS: OYO TARGETS 100 BED SPACES IN ISOLATION CENTRES” -MAKINDE

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease also known as Covid-19 and the recent confirmed case in Oyo State, the State Government has step up its approach to curtail the pandemic

One of the steps taken by the Government is the establishment of isolation centres while some Government Hospitals were on high alert.

Governor Seyi Makinde who is the Chairman of the State COVID-19 Taskforce visited Jericho Isolation centre.

The Governor reiterated the commitment of the Government by creating more isolation centres to curtail the spread of the virus.

He said the State Government is targeting at increasing the bed space at isolation centres from 20 to 100 bed spaces in four Isolation centres.

Governor Makinde assured the public that the Government, under his watch, will do everything humanly possible to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease in Oyo State.

The State Governor also enjoined the public to adhere strictly to personal hygiene and support the Government in its efforts to curtail Covid-19.
