Coronavirus: Cameroon Confirms First Case

Cameroon has confirmed its first case of the novel coronavirus.
According to AFP, the victim is a 58-year-old man of French national who arrived in the capital Yaounde in February.
The Cameroonian government said on Friday that the man had been placed in isolation in an hospital since his arrival.
, the health ministry said in a statement.
Cameroon is joining other African nations like Senegal who registered four cases, and South Africa and Nigeria who have each registered one case of the novel coronavirus. The victims of all cases so far recorded in Africa are all foreign nationals.
