A 98-year-old woman has recovered from Coronavirus in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made this known via his Twitter handle, said the woman was part of the 26 patients who were discharged in the State on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
According to the Governor, she is the oldest COVID-19 patient to recover in the State.
He tweeted that the woman joins 25 others: 13 males and 12 females, discharged from the State’s Isolation Centres after testing negative for COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
The PUNCH reports that Lagos has recorded 1,990 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with a total of 528 successfully managed and discharged patients.
