About 135 kilometers of roads have been completed and commissioned by Governor Seyi Makind’s led administration while construction works are currently on going in over 300 kilometers roads across the geo-political zones of Oyo State, in the last 3 years.
According to the Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Prof. Dahud Shangodoyin, within 36 months, over 360-kilometere roads have been awarded out of which 125 kilometers have been completed and commissioned.
The road map to accelerated development in Oyo State began in 2019 under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde with focus to four pillars which the administration is resting on.
In the last 3 years the administration has embarked on infrastructural projects which aimed at boosting the economy of the State.
Asides Road Constructions, the Seyi Makinde led government also constructed 4 Terminals and upgrades of 6 stadia.
Other Infrastructural projects Include, Light Up Oyo Project, Rehabilitation and upgrade of Awotan Dumpsite, IPP for State Secretariat and Environs. Collectively, it is imperative for people in the state to continue to support the Makinde led Administration in its quest to transform the state.
