Churches Reopen In Lagos State After Months Of COVID-19 Closure

Worship centres in Lagos have re-opened after being locked down for several months as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

Lagos state government had recently given the green light for worship centres to reopen in the state.

The  directive to reopen worship houses was announced by governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on august the 1st with the provision that worship centres can only fill up 50 per cent of their capacity.

Consequently worshippers turned up at various churches across the state this Sunday to hold their first service after months of suspension of physical religious gathering as precautionary measure against the coronavirus pandemic.

Also, the Federal Ministry of Health has enjoined  all worshipers  to continue their worship safely by maintaining a distance of 2 metres from others.
