A high court sitting in Osogbo has again adjourned the murder trial of a hotelier and educationist, Dr Rahmon Adedoyin and six of his hotel staff to the 10th of October 2022.
The court could not sit today following complaints by the prosecution and defendants counsels for their inability to file all the nessesary papers pertaining to the final addresses.
Briefing journalists,the prosecution counsel Mr Femi Fálànà SAN said after consultation with the presiding judge Adepele Ojo it was agreed that the case be adjourned to 10th October.
Mr Fálànà explained that in arriving at the date,the parties took into consideration the forthcoming annual vacation by the courts.
The first defendant Rahmon Adedoyin was not brought to the court today and no reason was given for the absence.
The prosecution counsels and the defendants counsels were scheduled to give their final addresses at Wednesday sitting.
It was also expected hat at the sitting the judgment date world be announced by the presiding judge.
However the six other defendants were in court before the adjournment.
