 Bauchi Governor Suspends Emir Of Misau Over Violent Clash

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has suspended the Emir of Misau, Alhaji Ahmad Suleiman over the violent clash between farmers and herders in his domain.

The Governor had set up a 13-man investigative panel to identify the cause of the communal clash which claimed nine lives and left many others injured in the domain of the suspended Emir.

The clash which occurred five days ago, resulted over a land dispute between herders and farmers. It was gathered that the said land had been used by herders for grazing over the years but was later allocated to farmers by the authorities.
