AGOYE RESIGNS AS 3SC COACH

Edith Olumide Agoye has resigned as the head coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, after nine years with club.

Agoye, a former Super Eagles attacker, resigned from his appointment on Tuesday, after meeting with the State Governor, Engr, Seyi Makinde, and the club management.

The former 3SC striker, led the Oluyole Warriors to stage a return to the Nigeria elite league after five years in the Second tier League.

Speaking with newsmen, he said, “After 9 years as a coach, five years as the head coach in which we gained promotion back to the NPFL and maintained our premier league status, l have decided to leave my position as the head coach of the club.

Furthermore, he noted that he is leaving Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, in pursuit of new challenges.”

Agoye appreciated the Oyo State government for the opportunity given to him to lead the South West club, he also extended his gratitude to God, family, 3SC management, fans, supporters, and other stakeholders who stood by him during the thick and thin.

He, however, thanked the Oyo State government for the opportunity to lead the South West club, while also extending his gratitude to God, family, 3SC management, ministry of youth and sports, the IFA, fans, supporters, and other stakeholders who stood by him resolutely.
