ABDUCTORS KILL HOTELIER, OTHERS AFTER PAYMENT OF ₦5M RANSOM

The entire Aba Community in Suurulere Local Government Area of Oyo state has been thrown into mourning over the killing of a hotelier, Mr. Olu Owolabi, and a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH), Racheal Opa by their abductors after payment of ₦5m ransom.

It would the recalled that the duo was abducted on Thursday, July 28 at Tana Suites, Aba in Suurulere Local Government Area around 7:00 p.m.

It was also reliably gathered that the motorcyclist, Idowu who conveyed the man that took the money to the kidnappers was also killed.

BCOS correspondent who visited Aba on Wednesday morning reports that residents of the area barricaded Ogbomoso-Ilorin old road protesting the killing of their relatives by men of the underworld.

At the palace of Alabà, Oba Bolarinwa Adepoju John, and along the streets of the town, Chiefs, residents, and security operatives were sighted in batches but our correspondent said the monarch was unable to grant an interview as he was totally disturbed by the incident.
