The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will continue to use modern technology for accurate results ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Chairman of the Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu said this during his visit to Kano in continuation of his inspection of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) nationwide.
He said INEC will continue to deepen the use of technology in elections adding that the INEC portal has come to stay.
Professor Yakubu said after elections at the polling units, results will be uploaded so that Nigerians can see the results even before the election is concluded.
He added that the Commission has overcome the initial challenges with the Bimodal Verification Accreditation (BVA) machine.
