Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has reiterated the commitment of his administration to the development of the State; noting that there is no zone in the State that has not felt the impact of his administration’s developmental efforts since he assumed office over two years ago.
Governor Makinde stated this on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the stakeholders’ consultative meeting on 2022 budget held at the Soun Ogunlola Town Hall, Ogbomoso.
The Governor who was represented by the Chairman, Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Hon. Temilola Adibi, sought for collective effort of all residents in the budget making process.
He stated that his administration has been touching lives of citizenry positively; noting that LAUTECH Stadium Under-G road and street light along the area and Moniya-Iseyin road have been completed, while several others such as Ajia-Airport road with spur to Amuloko, Oroki-Gedu-Asipa road, Oyo and others are ongoing.
The Governor who said hopefully, the ongoing projects will be completed without delay, added that all these would be possible through frequent consultative forum.
In their remarks, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Oladunni Ajagungbade the third, who was represented by Aare Ago of Ogbomosoland, High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin, other traditional rulers at the meeting and the Executive Chairman, BCOS, Prince Dotun Oyelade, commended Governor Makinde-led administration for organising stakeholders meeting across seven zones of the State.
