The Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has appealed against the decision of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan Division, which declared the review of the 1957 Olubadan Chieftaincy declaration and other related Chieftaincies in Ibadanland by the Justice Akintunde Boade Review Commission has unconstitutional, illegal, null, void and of no effect.

The Oyo state Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state will from this week commence preparations towards the expected conduct of local government elections in three months’ time.

The Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA) will embark on a routine maintenance on some road networks in Ibadan, the State Capital.


According to the Agency, the road networks are Command – Apata – Odo-Ona through Dugbe – Mokola – Sango, U.I – Ojoo to Moniya.


Molete, Oke – Ado, Oke – Bola, Dugbe via Ekotedo Queen Cinema.


Mokola, U.C.H-Gate, Parliament Road, Secretariat U.I, through Government House, Custom, Awolowo, Osuntokun to Mary Hill and Challenge – Molete through Beere – Oje to Gate.


The General public are hereby enjoined to exercise caution while plying these roads.


The Agency appealed to everyone to bear with the Government on any inconveniences the maintenance might cause.
