Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai forward Odion Ighalo is set to launch an orphanage home.

He broke the news on his Twitter, sharing photos of the completed home and announcing it will be launched on the 16th of December.

The former Nigeria international striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu has retired from active football at the age of 35, BBC Sport has reported.

Yakubu in almost a decade in English football, between January 2003 and June 2012, scored 114 times in 293 league appearances, mostly in the top flight.

Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson has encouraged Mohamed Salah to carry on with his impressive performances at the club.

The Egypt international has been in sensational form since his record move from Roma to Anfield in the summer, scoring 14 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions so far this term.
