We Are Committed To Rural Development- Ajimobi Assures NASS

The Oyo State Government will continue to support steps that will lead to the development of the rural areas having identified 70 per cent of state indigenes as rural dwellers.

The State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi Stated this while receiving members of the National Assembly members of the National Assembly House Committee on rural development at the Governor’s office secretariat  Agodi Ibadan.

 

The Chairman House Committee on rural development, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu noted that about 200 million dollars rural communication equipment had been purchased, while the second phase of the project will involve about 35 million dollars.

 

The visit was for the National Assembly House committee on rural development to inspect the rural telephone facilities in the state.
