Houses, churches, hotels, uncompleted buildings among other properties were pulled down during the demolition exercise carried out by a team of the Oyo State Housing Corporation and the Bureau for physical and urban development at Folashade Layout, Elerumooke-Egbeda New-Ife road, Ibadan for the illegal acquisition of land that belongs to the Oyo State government.

The Oyo state Government will soon acquire over 3,000 tractors in its bid to boost agriculture in the state. The Oyo State Commissioner for Agriculture, natural resources and rural development Prince Oyewole Oyewunmi stated this while speaking with newsmen shortly after the presentation of awards from Participants of Rural Finance Institution Building (RUFIM) programme.
